Управление скоростью насоса может быть с помощью ШИМ. Насосы могут регулироваться через цифровой слаботочный сигнал широтно-импульсной модуляции (ШИМ), который подразумевает, что скорость вращения насоса зависит от входящего сигнала солнечного контроллера. Скорость меняется в зависимости от профиля подаваемого игнала. Это позволяет максимально эффективно организировать работу системы с солнечными коллекторами, чем снижается потребление электроэнергии насосом, а также контролировать температуру перекачиваемой жидкости.Если отсутствует возможность подключения ШИМ-сигнала, ALPHA SOLAR может работать на любой из четырех фиксированных скоростей.
