Насос оснащен электродвигателем MS60009.2 кВт с защитой от песка, торцевым уплотнением вала, опорными подшипниками с водяной смазкой и мембраной для компенсации объема. Электродвигатель представляет собой погружной двигатель в герметическом исполнении, обладающий хорошей механической стабильностью и высоким КПД. Подходит для температур до 40 °C. Электродвигатель оснащен датчиком Grundfos Tempcon, который посредством связи по ЛЭП вместе с панелью управления MP204 позволяет контролировать температуру. Электродвигатель предназначен для пуска переключением со звезды на треугольник (Y/D).
